I built a beautiful (and expensive) copper frame for my Ancona insert. The hood vent works well. But Ancona uses proprietary LEDs in its kitchen hoods. Rather than being able to buy a common bulb, you have to buy their product. They are far more expensive than widely available LEDs and have a much shorter lifespan. Mine lasted 2 years before they went dim and began to flicker. This means I'll have to spend an average of $3/month for the of my hood vent to maintain the lights alone. I would not recommend this product.

Was experiencing strange light behaviour from my Ancona Range Hood. Thought it might be the controller panel. The technician correctly diagnosed the problem as the lights themselves. Excellent, rapid service.

OK Light, rated for functionality only. Considering it shouldn't have failed after a couple of years, and the fact that it could have been designed as user repairable with commonly availabe parts and therefore much less costly, I can't be thrilled about it. And what about when Anconca discontinues the part or perhaps goes out of business? If only...I'll just keep dreaming.

L'une des ampoules à DEL Pure LightsMC de 1,5 W conçues par Ancona, n'est plus fonctionnelle après seulement 3 ans ... et l'autre lumière ne peut fontionner car le système électrique est cablé en série. Aussi, il semble que ce modèle de DEL n'est plus disponible. De plus, à $30. pour une "petite ampoule" cela m'apparait anormalement cher . Très deçu de ce produit surtout après avoir constaté le montage électrique (faible qualité des pièces ainsi qu'un montage électrique minimaliste).
